I recently got the X16 midi card and little dreamer header as well as the serial midi expansion ports.

I have a midi controller keyboard that I recently picked up from amazon for around 50 GBP. I uses usb as it's interface, so I wondered how those kinds of devices can interact with the older equipement that uses midi DIN plugs.

After spending some time researching the topic, I found an interface device called a H2MIDI Pro, which acts as a host between a usb and midi interface.

I used this to connect my controller to my X16.

I have been able to find one app that was on the SD card that lets me trigger the sound chip notes, but it doesn't let me save anything and doesn't have any kind of a tracker/time line.

Is anyone aware of anything available or in the works that will make use of the midi card and the interface?
